As we move into the first full week of the new year, I encourage you to take some time to:

  • reflect on what you learned in 2022
  • clean and organize your space at home or work
  • set intentions for each day, week, month, and even the year ahead
  • explore ways to release your attachment to the past
  • try not to put pressure on yourself
  • take time to realign your energy body through yoga, meditation, or time spent in nature
  • do something you love

EAT | Turmeric is one of the world’s most well-known and commonly used Ayurvedic spices. It is beneficial to nearly every system in the body, and it is a delicious addition to many dishes. Explore more about turmeric here…

TRY THIS | Think about how you would like to feel today. Based on that feeling, set an affirmation. An affirmation usually starts with the words “I am…” and is completed with a word of a phrase stated in the affirmative (positive). For example, I am strong or I am calm. There are an infinite number of possible affirmations, so be creative and select one that makes the most sense for you in the moment. You can repeat your affirmation any time throughout your day, when you feel stressed, or if you need to refocus your mind.
